About The Course
A Student Who Has Passed Either Uttar Madhyama Or Prak–Shastri Or Equivalent Examination With Sanskrit May Be Admitted To Shastri , Which Is A Three-year Course. This Corresponds To B.A.(Hons) In Sanskrit In Modern Education.
Minimum Qualification For Admission To Shastri Course
Admission To The Course In A Campus Is Through A Merit List Prepared On The Basis Of An Admission Test Conducted By The Campus.
The Applicant Should Have Passed Any One Of The Following:-
1. Uttar Madhyama
2. Prak Shastri
3. Intermediate Examination From Any Sanskrit University Or Sanskrit Council, Through Traditional System.
4. Higher Secondary Examination/Intermediate Or Equivalent Examination From Any State Board Of School Education, Or University With Sanskrit As One Of The Subjects.
5. Vedavibhushan Examination Conducted By Maharishi Sandipani Vedavidya Pratishthanam.

A Student Who Has Passed Either Shastri Or B.Ed Or Equivalent Examination With Sanskrit May Be Admitted To Shiksha Shastri , Which Is A Two Year Course. This Corresponds To B.Ed In Modern Education.
For Admission To Course
Shastri Of The Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan Or An Equivalent Traditional Degree From Any University Or Recognised Examining Body Or B.A. In 10+2+3 Education Pattern (with Sanskrit As One Of The Main Subjects) Or Acharya / M.A. (Skt.) Having Obtained At Least 50% Marks In Aggregate, Only After Passing The SSET (Siksha Shastri Entrance Test) Conducted By The Sansthan.

CONDITIONS REGARDING OFFERING OF SUBJECT AT ACHARYA LEVEL :
Normally,a Student Shall Be Allowed To Offer The Same Subjects, Which He Was Having At Shastri Level But In Special Cases, The Principal May Permit To Take A Subject (other Than Siddhant Jyotish) Not Taken At Shastri Level.
Candidates Who Have Passed B.A. With Sanskrit Or Vedalankar / Vakyalankar May Be Allowed To Take Sahitya Or Dharma Shastra Or Sankhya Yoga Or Phalit Jyotish Or Karma Kanda At Acharya Level. B.A. (Sanskrit) With Philosophy May Take Advait Vedanta.
Candidates Having Passed B.A. (Hons.) In Sanskrit May Be Allowed To Take Veda Or Vyakarana Or Sahitya Or Dharma Shastra Or Sankhya Yoga Or Phalit Jyotish Or Karma Kanda At Acharya Level.
Candidates Who Have Passed Acharya In One Subject Or Have Done M.A. In Sanskrit Will Be Allowed To Offer Any Subject At Acharya Level Other Than Siddhanta Jyotish, Veda, Navya Nyaya, Navya Vyakaran And Mimamsa. However, An Acharya In Phalit Jyotish, Navya Nyaya, Navya Vyakaran May Be Admitted In Siddhanta Jyotish, Prachin Nyaya And Vyakaran And Vice –versa.
B.A./B. Sc. With Sanskrit Having Astronomy As One Of The Subjects, Will Be Allowed To Take Siddhanta Jyotish At Acharya Level.

About The Course
The Eligible Candidates Have To Take A Common Entrance Test, Conducted By The Sansthan Every Year On All India Basis.
The Research Degree Awarded By The Sansthan To The Scholars Registered At Its Head Quarter, Or At The Campus Is Called Vidyavaridhi (Ph.D.). The Degree Is Recognized As Equivalent To Ph.D. By The Government Of India UGC.
For Admission To Course
At Least "55% Marks" obtained In Acharya Or In M.A. From The Sansthan Or From Any Other Recognised University", For Taking Admission To Vidya-Varidhi.
The Admission To All These Courses Is Done On The Basis Of The Merit List Of Entrance Test For Which Separate Guidelines Are Available In Sansthan.
